Dozens of applications for documentary completion funding pile up, but I’m still just looking at footage. As I write this, Patty’s son Darrell is saying on the tape, “Somebody once told me that if you want anything in life, you have to go into debt.“ I wonder who that wise man was. And did Darrell meet him at the crossroads?
