While looking through the footage from the last shoot, I find myself longing for the roadside grease of Waffle House.
Dozens of applications for documentary completion funding pile up, but I’m still just looking at footage. As I write this, Patty’s son Darrell is saying on the tape, “Somebody once told me that if you want anything in life, you have to go into debt.” I wonder who that wise man was. Had to leave another comment—I’ve been down with a flu & isolated for several days, taking refuge in modern technology via muse files and the Internet. But at least it’s given me a chance to peruse your site. I now see that you’ve got Torv Carlson & Jeff Spencer on your production staff as well. And I love Jeff’s comments, with his typical bite & alacrity. Brings back pleasant memories of late night Stockton cruises in the red baracuda.
